O blog anda atrasado, porque a blogger anda super ocupada. Mas o prometido é devido e uma semana depois, vamos olhar com respeito e atenção para as cerimónias que decorreram na Dinamarca por ocasião da morte do Príncipe Henrik, falecido a 13 de Fevereiro de 2018.
The blog is late, because the blogger is very busy. But the promise is due and a week later, we will look with respect and attention to the ceremonies that took place in Denmark on the death of Prince Henrik, who died on 13 February 2018.

No dia de S. Valentim, a eterna namorada de Henrik, contra todas as expectativas sai até ao Pátio do Palácio de Fredensborg, onde o seu marido tinha falecido horas antes, para contemplar as flores que dezenas de populares depositaram em homenagem ao marido da Rainha. Margrethe II sorri e saúda os súbditos. Por detrás do sorriso de agradecimento, a sua dor está estampada nos olhos.
On Valentine's Day, Henrik's eternal girlfriend, against all expectations, goes out to the Courtyard of Fredensborg Palace, where her husband had died hours before, to contemplate the flowers that dozens of people have deposited in honor of the Queen's husband . Margrethe II smiles and salutes her subjects. Behind the grateful smile, her pain is in her eyes.

Sørgesalut fra Batteriet Sixtus og kanonerne på Kronborg Slot
Klokken 8.00 i morges blev der gennemført en sørgesalut til ære for H.K.H. Prins Henrik fra Batteriet Sixtus på Holmen i København og fra kanonerne på Kronborg Slot i Helsingør. Salutten bestod af tre gange 27 skud, der blev affyret med 30 sekunders mellemrum. Historisk set er der ved dansk krigsførelse blevet affyret ”dansk løsen” på tre skud for at indikere de danske enheders placering. Sørgesalutten har rod i ”dansk løsen”, og der er derfor tradition for, at den kan deles med tre. Materiale: TV2 ©

Uma saudação de luto com disparos de canhão foi conduzida às primeiras horas da manhã em Holmen, em Copenhaga e no Castelo de Kronborg, em Helsingør. A saudação consiste em 27 tiros, com cerca de 30 segundos de intervalo entre si.
A mourning salutewith cannon shots was conducted in the early hours of the morning in Holmen, Copenhagen and at Kronborg Castle in Helsingør. The salute consists of 27 shots, with about 30 seconds of interval between them.

Ainda durante o período da manhã o caixão do Príncipe Henrik foi transportado do Palácio de Fredensborg para o Palácio Christian IX no complexo de Amalienborg, em Copenhaga. Atrás do carro funerário, segue a Rainha Margrethe II. Os dois filhos, o  Príncipe da Coroa Frederik e o Príncipe Joachim seguem atrás com as suas famílias em dois carros.
Yet during the morning the coffin of Prince Henrik was transported from Fredensborg Palace to the Christian Palace IX at the Amalienborg complex in Copenhagen. Behind the hearse, follows Queen Margrethe II. The couple's two sons, Crown Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim follow behind with their families in two cars.

Após a chegada a Amalienborg, os dois filhos de Henrik e Margrethe II saíram à rua, juntamente com as suas esposas e filhos para contemplarem as flores depositadas junto ao Palácio, residência oficial da monarca dinamarquesa. Frederik, Mary, Christian, Isabella, Vincent e Josephine, bem como Joachim, Marie, Nikolai, Felix, Henrik e Athena surpreenderam os populares que não imaginavam ver os membros da família real tão de perto neste momento.
After arriving in Amalienborg, Henrik and Margrethe's two sons went out with their wives and children to contemplate the flowers deposited next to the Palace, the official residence of the Danish monarch. Frederik, Mary, Christian, Isabella, Vincent and Josephine, as well as Joachim, Marie, Nikolai, Felix, Henrik and Athena surprised the danish poeple who did not imagine seeing the members of the royal family so closely at this time.

Siden i går har H.K.H. Prins Henriks båre stået i Riddersalen i Christian IX’s Palæ, Amalienborg. I aften klokken 18.00 overføres båren til Christiansborg Slotskirke. Omkring båren på Amalienborg står vagter, som stilles af værnepligtige gardere fra Den Kongelige Livgarde og værnepligtige gaster fra Kongeskibet Dannebrog. På hver vagt vil være to gardere, to gaster og en sergent fra Livgarden. På Prins Henriks båre ligger Prinsens eget flag med Prinsens våbenskjold. Omkring båren står fire ens gueridoner med kandelabre. Gueridonerne er i anledningen udlånt fra Rosenborg Slot, og I 2000 var gueridonerne også udlånt ved en privat højtidelighed i Fredensborg Slotskirke i anledning af Dronning Ingrids død. Ved Frederik 9.s castrum doloris i 1972, blev de brugt i Christiansborg Slotskirke. Båren er placeret på bukke, der er speciallavet til formålet af Kongehusets Snedkerværksted. Bukkene er lavet af Kalmar fyr fra Sverige. Låsepindene er lavet af tre forskellige slags træsorter. Ao mesmo tempo que isso acontece, o caixão do Príncipe Henrik fica no Knight Hall no Palácio Christian IX. O caixão envolto da bandeira nacional dinamarquesa estava apoiado em três suportes de madeira com origens muito distintas mas simbólicas. O primeiro, junto à cabeça foi feito a partir de uma árvore do Palácio de Fredensborg, o suporte do meio foi feito a partir de madeira de um pinheiro do Château de Cayx, França e o último, junto aos pés foi feito de madeira proveniente do Castelo de Gråsten. Três locais muito especiais para o Príncipe Henrik. A fazer guarda-de-honra, membros do regimento Royal Life Guard e recrutas do Iate Real Dannebrog.
At the same time this happens, Prince Henrik's coffin sits at Knight Hall in the Christian IX Palace. The coffin wrapped in the Danish national flag was supported by three wooden supports with very distinct but symbolic origins. The first one, next to the head was made from a tree of the Palace of Fredensborg, the middle support was made from wood of a pine tree of Château de Cayx, France and the last one, near the feet was made of wood from the Gråsten Castle. Three very special locations for Prince Henrik. To do honor-guards, members of the Royal Life Guard regiment and recruits of the Dannebrog Royal Yacht.

No dia seguinte, nova procissão. Desta vez os restos mortais do Príncipe Henrik foram transportados ao final do dia até à Igreja do Palácio de Christianborg. O cortejo fúnebre foi acompanhado pela família real e por centenas de populares que respeitosamente baixavam a cabeça e faziam vénias à passagem do caixão e da família real dinamarquesa.
 The next day, new procession. This time the remains of Prince Henrik were transported at the end of the day to Christianborg Palace Church. The funeral procession was accompanied by the royal family and hundreds of people who respectfully bowed their heads as the coffin passed next to them. 



Uma pequena cerimónia privada teve lugar no interior da igreja apenas para familiares de Henrik, incluindo a sua família francesa.
A small private ceremony took place inside the church only for Henrik's family, including his French family.

A Rainha Margrethe II, o Príncipe da Coroa Frederik e a Princesa da Coroa Mary, o Príncipe Joachim e a Princesa Marie marcaram presença numa breve cerimónia Castrum Doloris pela manhã. Desde 1600 que Castrum Doloris é uma tradição na Casa Real Dinamarquesa, possibilitando ao público uma oportunidade para que possam apresentar as suas despedidas a um membro da família real falecido. O termo Castrum Doloris vem do latim e significa "castelo de dor". Na Dinamarca, existe uma antiga tradição em que sejam oficiais a fazer a vigília durante o Castrum Doloris. Oficiais do Exército, da Marinha, da Força Aérea e da Guarda Doméstica estiveram em turnos como guardas de honra em redor do caixão do Príncipe Henrik.
Queen Margrethe II, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie were present at a brief Castrum Doloris ceremony in the morning. Since 1600 Castrum Doloris is a tradition in the Danish Royal Household, allowing the public an opportunity to present their farewells to a deceased member of the royal family. The term Castrum Doloris comes from Latin and means "castle of pain". In Denmark, there is an ancient tradition in which they are officers to watch during the Castrum Doloris. Officers from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Home Guard were in turns as honor guards around Prince Henrik's coffin.



Após a cerimónia privada, a Igreja esteve aberta ao público num horário específico até ao final do dia 19. Junto ao caixão 7 coroas de flores: A grande grinalda branca na frente com fitas brancas diz "Daisy". As 2 coroas com fitas brancas e vermelhas encostadas ao estrado roxo são de Frederik e Mary, e Joachim & Marie. A grinalda roxa deitada no tapete ligeiramente à direita do centro tem escrito "Grand Papa" nas fitas. Nas laterais do estrado estão as grinaldas das irmãs da Rainha: Princesa Benedikte (em cores dinamarquesas) e Rainha Anne Marie e Rei Constantine da Grécia (em azul grego), ao lado de outra de sua família.
After the private ceremony, the church was open to the public at a specific time until the end of the 19th. Next to the coffin 7 wreaths of flowers: The large white wreath on the front with white ribbons says "Daisy". The two wreaths with white and red ribbons against the purple dais are from Frederik and Mary, and Joachim & Marie. The purple wreath lying on the rug slightly to the right of the center has written "Grand Papa" on the ribbons. On the sides of the platform are the wreaths of the Queen's sisters: Princess Benedikte (in Danish colors) and Queen Anne Marie and King Constantine of Greece (in Greek blue), alongside another of their family.

Após a passagem de mais de 13.000 pessoas pela Igreja do Palácio de Christianborg para apresentar as suas despedidas ao Príncipe Henrik, decorreu ao inicio da tarde uma pequena cerimónia Castrum Doloris para cerca de 200 convidados, amigos e afilhados em representação das várias organizações que Henrik apoiava. Foi também esta a oportunidade para familiares mais afastados virem apresentar as suas condolências.
After more than 13,000 people passed through the Christianborg Palace Church to present their farewells to Prince Henrik, a small Castrum Doloris ceremony was held at the beginning of the afternoon for about 200 guests, friends and godchildren representing the various organizations Henrik supported . It was also the opportunity for extended family to come and present their condolences.

Após esta cerimónia, o Príncipe da Coroa Frederik e o Príncipe Joachim receberam os convidados para um recepção no Palácio de Christianborg. Os dois filhos de Henrik, chegaram ao palácio transportados no carro oficial do Príncipe Henrik - Krone 101. 
After this ceremony, Crown Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim welcomed and greeted the guests for a reception at Christianborg Palace. Henrik's two sons arrived at the palace in Prince Henrik's official car - Krone 101.


Igualmente presentes nesta recepção as amadas cadelinhas de Henrik : Nelly, Tillia and Helik.
Also present at the reception were Henrik's beloved little dogs: Nelly, Tillia and Helik.

Uma semana depois da sua morte, é chegada a última cerimónia oficial. Comparecida apenas por 60 pessoas, o serviço religioso em memória do Príncipe Henrik da Dinamarca contou com a presença da sua família mais próxima e alguns representantes oficiais. A cerimónia pode ser integralmente vista aqui (em dinamarquês).
One week after his death, the last official ceremony took place. Attended by only 60 people, the religious service in memory of Prince Henrik of Denmark was attended by his closest family and some official representatives. The ceremony can be seen in full here (in Danish).

No chão dezenas de coroas de flores dispostas, a pedido do Príncipe Henrik, como se trata-se de um jardim, num derradeiro gesto romântico para com a mais bela flor do seu jardim: Daisy. Toda a família estava muito emocionada. Curiosamente foi muito bonito ver a preocupação das crianças com os adultos em vários momentos da cerimónia.
On the floor dozens of wreaths arranged, at the request of Prince Henrik, as if they were in a garden, in the ultimate romantic gesture towards the most beautiful flower in his garden: Daisy. The whole family was very emotional, as expected. Curiously, it was very beautiful to see how much the children were concerned with the adults at various moments of the ceremony.



Após o funeral, 10 oficiais do Royal Life Guard transportaram o caixão da Igreja do Palácio para o carro fúnebre. A família real observou este momento enquanto se despediam do príncipe Henrik.
Quando o carro se afastou ouviu-se a Marcha de Homenagem do Príncipe Henrik, composta em 1967. Trata-se de um presente de casamento que Henrik recebeu quando casou com Margrethe.
Uma saída que não poderia ser mais típica de Henrik.
After the funeral, 10 Royal Life Guard officers transported the coffin from the Palace's Church to the hearse. The royal family watched this moment as they said goodbye to Prince Henrik.
As the car pulled away, the Henrik's Homage March, composed in 1967, was heard. It was a wedding gift that Henrik received when he married Margrethe.
An exit that could not be more classical-Henrik.

De seguida decorreu a cerimónia privada de cremação. Metade das cinzas do Príncipe Henrik serão espalhadas pelas águas dinamarquesas e a metade será colocada numa urna na secção privada do Jardim do Palácio de Fredensborg.
Then the private cremation ceremony took place. Half of Prince Henrik's ashes will be scattered across Danish waters and half will be placed in an urn in the private section of the Fredensborg Palace Garden.

A Rainha está actualmente de férias, mas antes disso ela não deixou de emitir uma carta de agradecimento por todos os gestos de solidariedade e respeito demonstrados para com a sua família, face a este momento tão difícil.
The Queen is currently on vacation, but before that she did not fail to release a  thank-you letter  for all the gestures of solidarity and respect shown to her family in the face of this difficult moment.
"Para mim e para a minha família, tem sido profundamente emocionante observar o calor e a simpatia que surgiram de todas as partes da sociedade dinamarquesa em conexão com a morte e o funeral do Príncipe Henrik.
As muitas belas flores, espontaneamente, colocadas nos lugares onde o Príncipe estava, os milhares de pessoas que vieram de perto e de longe, que enfrentaram o frio do inverno para mostrar ao Príncipe seus respeitos na Igreja do castelo e as incontáveis expressões de simpatia escritas que recebemos, tocaram-nos profundamente e são fundamentais para nos ajudar neste momento difícil.
Por todos esses belos testemunhos de devoção e compaixão, eu e a minha família desejamos expressar nossos sinceros agradecimentos a todos os dinamarqueses ". 
“For me and my family, it has been deeply moving to experience the warmth and sympathy that has flowed from all parts of Danish society in connection with Prince Henry’s death and funeral.The many beautiful flowers spontaneously laid down at the places where the Prince was, the many thousands of people from near and far who braved the winter cold to show the Prince their respects in the castle church and the countless written sympathetic expressions we have received, has touched us all deeply and is instrumental in helping us through this difficult time.For all these beautiful testimonies of devotion and compassion, I and my family wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all the Danish people.”

Todas as flores depositadas em Fredensborg e Amalienborg foram transferidas para Kastellet, Cidadela em Copenhaga. Todas as cartas, postais e outros objectos depositados como homenagem foram guardados a pedido da Rainha.
All the flowers deposited in Fredensborg and Amalienborg were transferred to Kastellet, Citadel in Copenhagen. All letters, cards and other objects deposited as homage were kept at the request of the Queen.


Este foi um funeral planeado ao milímetro por Henrik. Tudo, mas absolutamente tudo foi executado conforme os seus desejos, deixando antever uma planificação muito atempada e reflectida. Desde as flores escolhidas, à música tocada, à terra usada para a benção final, passando pelas pessoas presentes em cada cerimónia. Estas foram as exéquias de um Príncipe que nunca chegou a ser Rei, mas que fez valer a sua vontade e maneira de ser até ao fim.
This was a funeral planned by Henrik. Everything, but absolutely everything was executed according to his wishes, leaving foreseen a very timely and reflected planning. From the flowers chosen, to the music played, to the land used for the final blessing, passing by the people present at each ceremony. This was the funeral of a Prince who never became King, but who kept his will and personality when he left, until the very last end.
