Maxima em preto integral em Itália / Máxima in full black in Italy

Quando imagino Maxima, vêm-me à cabeça imensas cores, texturas e acessórios no que toca ao seu estilo tão próprio. É raro, e especialmente no Verão, vermos a Rainha Holandesa a usar preto, no entanto na sua mais recente passagem por Itália e pelo Vaticano, isso aconteceu duas vezes.
When I think about Maxima, I have a lot of colors, textures and accessories in mind regarding her very own style. It is rare, and especially in summer, to see the Dutch Queen wearing black, but in her most recent passage through Italy and the Vatican, this happened twice.



Foi o encontro mais esperado da Visita. O encontro entre dois Argentinos, que hoje ocupam dois tronos na Europa. O Rei Willem-Alexander e a Rainha Máxima foram recebidos na Santa Sé pelo Papa Francisco, no terceiro dia da Visita de Estado a Itália.
It was the most anticipated meeting of the Visit. The meeting between two Argentines, who today occupy two thrones in Europe. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima were received in the Holy See by Pope Francis on the third day of the State Visit to Italy.


A visita de Estado ao Vaticano sublinha as ligações bilaterais ou multilaterais entre os Países Baixos e o Vaticano. O Papa Francisco representa 1,2 bilião de seguidores da Igreja Católica. A igreja está inserida na sociedade civil local em todo o mundo. A Santa Sé pode, desta forma, fazer um esforço diplomático para ajudar a solucionar desafios sociais internacionais, tais como conflitos, mudanças climáticas, pobreza e migração.
The State visit to the Vatican underlines the bilateral or multilateral ties between the Netherlands and the Vatican. Pope Francis represents 1.2 billion followers of the Catholic Church. The church is embedded in local civil society around the world. The Holy See can, therefore, make a diplomatic effort to help solve international social challenges, such as conflict, climate change, poverty and migration.


Máxima, seguiu o protocolo papal e usou preto da cabeça aos pés, e pérolas a completar o look. Sou fã deste dresscode do Vaticano, ainda mais quando são usados vestidos ou saias compridas. Bem mais do que do privilège du blanc (exclusivo para Rainhas ou consortes de monarquias católicas).
Maxima, followed the papal protocol and wore black from head to toe, and pearls to complete the look. I'm a fan of this Vatican dresscode, especially when wearing long dresses or skirts. I still prefer this drama to the privilège du blanc (exclusive for Queen or consorts of Catholic monarchies).


No mesmo dia o casal real rumou a Milão, norte de Itália, onde ao inicio da noite visitaram uma clínica de futebol para jogadores jovens da região. O evento foi uma acção conjunta da KNVB, da Federação Italiana de Futebol com o apoio de ex-jogadores de topo holandeses que actuaram em clubes italianos.
On the same day, the royal couple went to Milan, northern Italy, where at night they visited a football clinic for young players from the region. The event was a joint action of the KNVB , the Italian Football Federation with the support of former top Dutch football players who have played in Italian clubs.


Concluindo o dia,  Willem-Alexander e a rainha Máxima compareceram a um jantar de Comércio. Todos os membros da missão económica paralela estão presentes, com a sua rede italiana.
Concluding the day, Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended a Trade dinner. All members of the parallel economic mission are present with their Italian network.



Na capital da moda italiana, Maxima escolheu um vestido Valentino preto que mostra irreverência e que também pode ser usado para ir à pesca. É um vestido multi-funções!
In the capital of Italian fashion, Maxima chose a black Valentino dress that shows irreverence and that can also be used to go fishing. It's a multi-function dress!
