Como é hábito, os Grimaldi foram ao circo. O festival de circo de Monte-Carlo mundialmente conhecido festejou este ano a sua 40ª edição e terminou no passado Domingo.

Este ano com uma homenagem muito especial. A princesa Stephanie foi premiada com o Palhaço de Ouro, entregue pelo seu irmão. O gesto premeia o trabalho e dedicação que a Princesa prestou ao longo dos anos ao serviço deste conceituado evento monegasco.
This year with a very special homage. Princess Stephanie was awarded with the Golden Clown, delivered by his brother. The gesture rewards the work and dedication that the Princess has provided over the years to the service of this prestigious Monaco event.
Charlene, tal como eu parece não ser fã de Circo, porque desde 2014 que não é vista neste evento. A princesa compareceu no entanto, juntamente com o seu marido o Príncipe Albert II à habitual cerimónia religiosa do Sainte-Devote, padroeiro do Principado (e da ilha de Córsega). Após o Sagrado Sacramento, um barco simbólico é incendiado pela mão do casal de soberanos monegasco.
Charlene, like me does not seem to be a circus fan, because since 2014 she is not seen at this event. The princess appeared however along with her husband Prince Albert II at the usual religious ceremony for Sainte-Devote, the Principality's patron (as from the island of Corsica). After the Holy Sacrament, a symbolic boat is set on fire by the hand of the Monegasque sovereign couple.
Segundo reza a lenda Saint terá sido martirizado na Córsega no ano 312. O barco que transportava o seu corpo para África foi apanhado por uma tempestade e terá sido guiado para o lado europeu por uma bomba branca, onde atracou num porto, onde hoje é o Mónaco.
According to an old legend Saint have been martyred in Corsica in the year 312. The boat carrying the body for Africa was caught in a storm and have been guided to the European side by a white pump, which docked in a port, in what is now Monaco.
Protegida para o frio, a Princesa consorte to Mónaco cumpriu a tradição religiosa e cumprimentou populares que assistiam à cerimónia.
Protected for cold, the Monaco's Consort Princess fulfilled the religious tradition and greeted the citizens attending the ceremony.
