Vale a pena pensar nisto / It's worth thinking about it

O mês de Janeiro passou mais uma vez em branco no T&T. A realeza está presente todos os dias da minha vida, mas simplesmente o tempo para planear os posts e os temas a abordar não são é suficiente. Com muita pena minha.

The month of January has passed once again blank in T & T. The royalty is present every day of my life, but simply the time to plan posts and topics to be addressed is not enough. To my regret.

Sei que muitos de vós acompanham todos os dias as mais recentes noticias da realeza. Os rumores, o requinte de um evento de gala, a expectativa de um nascimento e o estilo das princesas e rainhas de quem tanto gostamos.

I know many of you accompany every day the latest news of royalty. The rumors, the refinement of a gala event, the expectation of a royal birth and the style of princesses and queens who we both enjoyed.

Este blog tem essa essência. Por vezes aparentemente frívola, mas também informativa. Após um mês de ausência, não vos trago nada disso. O tom ligeiro do blog vai ser substituido por imagens de eventos ocorridos nestes dois últimos meses que NÃO PODEM SER ESQUECIDOS. Porque é triste, é tão triste ver que o Homem não aprende com a História.

This blog has this essence. Sometimes seemingly frivolous, but also informative. After a month of absence, I won´t bring you anything as such. The light tone of the blog will be replaced by images of events that occurred in the last two months that CAN NOT BE FORGOTTEN. Because it's sad, it's so sad to see that the man does not learn  anything from history.

15 de Fevereiro - Comunicado da Rainha Margrethe II da Dinamarca em conexão com os atentados terroristas ocorridos durante o fim-de-semana em Copenhaga.

February 15 - Queen of Denmark Margrethe II release in connection with the terrorist attacks that occurred during the end-of-week in Copenhagen.

"É com grande tristeza que tomei conhecimento da extenção dos acontecimentos ocorridos nas últimas 24 horas. O meu pensamento está com o director de filmes assassinado e com o jovem segurança da comunidade judaíca que tornaram-se alvos da premeditação do responsável por estes actos. Envio a minha mais profunda simpatia para os familiares e para os agentes policiais feridos.

Desejo expressar os meus agradecimentos à polícia e às autoridades pelos seus esforços rápidos e efectivos.

É bastante importante que nós, perante esta situação, permaneçamos unidos e fixos nos valores sobre os quais a Dinamarca foi fundada."

Vale a pena pensar também nisto. Porque a realeza faz-nos lembrar que todos nós podemos tornar este mundo um pouco melhor. Porque cada um de nós pode ser uma luz num mundo cada vez mais escuro.

It is also worth thinking about it. Because royalty reminds us that we can all make this world a little better. Because each of us can be a light in an increasingly dark world.
